iPhone: check the maximum battery capacity
Check your iPhone's maximum battery capacity to see why the battery life is getting shorter.

How to do it
- Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging.
- Read off the value.
- If no percentage appears, have the battery checked at an Apple Store or an authorised service provider.
Why it works
The value compares the capacity with that of a new battery. At 90 percent, it can only store 90 percent of its original capacity.
