What you need
- Router with a guest network feature
- Smart-home devices
How to do it
- Turn on the guest network in your router.
- Connect the smart-home devices to the guest network using each device's app.
- Check that everything works. If devices can no longer find each other, check the guest access option that lets Wi-Fi devices communicate with one another.

- Choose a separate, secure password for the guest network.
