Check and clean your washing machine's lint filter at regular intervals.

What you need
- towel
- bowl
How to do it
- Put a towel and a bowl ready to catch water, then open the flap at the bottom front. Its position differs by model.
- Unscrew the filter and remove lint, coins and hair.
- Put the filter back in and close the flap.
Variations
- With pets or often very dirty laundry, check every two to three months.
