What you need

  • Bathroom scale or gas scale

How to do it

  1. Put the cylinder on the scale.
  2. Read the tare weight stamped on the cylinder's collar.
  3. Subtract: with a total of 18.4 kg and a tare of 12.2 kg, 6.2 kg of gas remain.
  4. Note that the cylinder has to be removed from the vehicle for this.
