Check the Fritz!Box radio channel before buying new gear
If your Wi-Fi is unstable, check the radio channel setting on your Fritz!Box before thinking about new hardware.

How to do it
- Open the Fritz!Box interface in your browser.
- Go to the Wi-Fi section and open the radio channel settings, found at the very bottom.
- Keep automatic channel selection, or manually pick a less crowded channel.

- Channels 1, 6 and 11 are recommended as an alternative.
