Plug your TV into a power strip with a switch to cut its standby power use.

What you need

How to do it
- Plug the switched power strip into the wall socket.
- Connect the TV to the switched power strip.
- Turn the switch off when you aren't using the TV. If you only turn it off with the remote, it stays in standby.
