Check a battery's charge level by dropping it, without a meter
Check without a meter whether a battery is still full by dropping it upright onto a hard surface.

What you need
- hard, flat surface

How to do it
- Hold the battery upright and drop it from a height of about 15 cm.
- Let it land on the tabletop and watch whether it bounces or falls over.
- Compare several batteries with each other.

- This test has not been tried on rechargeable batteries.
