How to do it
- Tap the spot in the viewfinder and hold your finger there for a few seconds.
- Let go as soon as the yellow “AE/AF Lock” label appears at the top.
- Change the framing and take the shot.
- To release the lock, briefly tap somewhere else.
Variations
- It is especially useful for video, where the picture would otherwise “pump” while refocusing.
