First-letter sentence for a fixed order (planets)

A first-letter sentence gives you the eight planets in the right order.

Difficulty
◆ easy

How to do it

  1. Take the first letter of each item.
  2. Build a sentence from those letters, ideally in your own language.
  3. Example: the German sentence above stands for Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

Variations

  • Pluto has counted as a dwarf planet since 2006, so older sentences with nine planets are out of date.
