What you need

  • Lawn mower
  • Scarifier or hoe
  • Rake

How to do it

  1. Mow the lawn short.
  2. Scarify it or hoe up the turf.
  3. Clear weeds, moss and thatch from the whole area as completely as possible.
  4. Sow the seed afterwards.
