Storing carrots in sand in the cellar
Store carrots, celeriac and beetroot in a crate of sand when your cellar is too warm and dry.

What you need
- Crate
- Sand
How to do it
- Layer the vegetables in a crate of sand.
- Cover them completely with sand.
- Moisten the sand with a little water now and then.

Bei zu warmen und trockenen Kellern kann das Gemüse ausschlagen.
Dann empfiehlt es sich, Möhren, Sellerie oder Rote Bete in eine Kiste mit Sand einzulagern.
