What you need
- Scrap piece of wood
- Clamp or vise
- Wood twist bit with centre point
How to do it
- Clamp a smooth scrap of wood (a sacrificial board) firmly beneath the spot you want to drill.
- Drill with a wood twist bit that has a centre point and spurs.
