The water carrier: only the named colour may cross
A tag game: only players wearing the named colour can cross safely to the other side.

How to do it
- Mark out a field and choose a water carrier.
- The water carrier stands on one side and the other children on the opposite side, calling out the rhyme “Water carrier, water carrier, which colour may we cross with?”.
- The water carrier names a colour that as few children as possible are wearing.
- All children wearing that colour may cross and are safe for this round.
- The water carrier can catch the others. Anyone caught helps the water carrier from then on.

- Go over the rules with the children beforehand.
