Shadow guessing behind a bedsheet
Guess objects from their shadows behind a sheet: the first to recognise one scores a point.

What you need
- Bedsheet
- Torch
- Assorted objects
How to do it
- Stretch the sheet as a screen, fix a lamp behind it and darken the room.
- The game leader holds up one object after another in front of the lamp.
- Start far from the screen, then move closer and closer. The shadow gets sharper.
- Whoever guesses correctly first gets a point.
Variations
- Pick objects with a recognisable outline, such as cutlery, shoes or cuddly toys.
