Choosing a window seat ahead of the wings for a clear view
For a clear view out of the plane window, pick a seat ahead of or just behind the wings.

How to do it
- Look at the airline's seat map and find the rows ahead of the wings.
- Pick a window seat in one of those rows.
Why it works
There, the view outside isn't blocked by the wings.
Variations
- Over the wings it is calmer, but the wing often limits your view.
