Change disc brake pads before the backing plate hits the rotor
Replace disc brake pads in time, before the metal backing plate grinds on the rotor.

What you need
- Replacement pads that fit your brake caliper
How to do it
- Check the pads for wear grooves.
- Replace the pads if the grooves are barely visible or the pad has worn unevenly.
- Check them at least once per season and before longer tours.
