What you need

How to do it
- Patch the tube and check it for leaks, by ear or in a water bath.
- Search the inside of the tyre thoroughly.
- Remove anything you find, then insert the tube.
Why it works
If foreign objects stay in the tyre, the patched tube is damaged again right away.
