Pomodoro: 25 focused minutes, then a 5-minute break
Work in 25-minute blocks with short breaks in between to stay focused on one task at a time.
- Time
- ⏱ 25 min je Block
- Difficulty
- ◆ easy
What you need
- Timer, kitchen timer or phone timer
- Scrap of paper for tasks
How to do it
- Make a task list and pick one task.
- Set the timer for 25 minutes and work only on that task.
- After 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break.
- After four blocks, take a longer break.
- Jot distractions down on a piece of paper rather than following them up straight away.
Variations
- Adjust the blocks to suit the task; if concentrating is hard for you, shorter blocks can help too.
