Linux/Unix chmod-Berechtigungen verstehen und berechnen

Über das Tool

Der Chmod Calculator ermöglicht die visuelle Berechnung von Unix/Linux-Dateiberechtigungen. Wähle Lese-, Schreib- und Ausführungsrechte für Eigentümer, Gruppe und Andere — der oktale Wert (z. B. 755, 644) und die symbolische Darstellung (z. B. rwxr-xr-x) werden sofort angezeigt. Umgekehrt lassen sich oktale Werte eingeben und die einzelnen Berechtigungen auflesen.

About the Tool

The Chmod Calculator enables visual calculation of Unix/Linux file permissions. Select read, write and execute rights for owner, group and others — the octal value (e.g. 755, 644) and symbolic representation (e.g. rwxr-xr-x) are shown instantly. Conversely, enter an octal value to read out the individual permissions.
