Whisper down the lane
Whisper a message from ear to ear and find out what comes out at the end – a classic group game.

How to do it
- Sit in a row or a circle.
- Think up a message and whisper it into your neighbour's ear.
- Pass on whatever you understood.
- The last person says the message out loud. For comparison, everyone can say what they heard.
Variations
- Drawing version: write down a sentence, the next person draws a picture of it, the one after writes a new sentence about the picture, and so on. Reveal everything at the end.
- Fold-over game “sentence, picture, sentence”: everyone writes a sentence and passes the sheet on. The next person draws it and folds the paper so only the picture shows. The next writes a sentence about the picture, folds and passes on, until everyone gets their own sheet back. Then compare what changed. You need paper and pens.
