Wipe or wash paws after a walk
Wipe or bathe your dog's paws in lukewarm water after a walk and dry them well to remove foreign objects.
- Time
- ⏱ 2 min
- Difficulty
- ◆ easy
What you need
- Lukewarm water
- Towel or washcloth
How to do it
- Wash the paws with lukewarm water or wipe them with a damp cloth.
- Clean especially well between the toes.
- Dry the paws thoroughly.
Why it works
Any foreign objects get removed this way. Drying matters because constant moisture can soften the paw pads and raise the risk of injury.
