Propagate catnip from cuttings to grow new plants for toys or scratching surfaces.

What you need
- Scissors
- Moist sand or growing medium
- Pot
How to do it
- In summer, before flowering, cut strong, non-woody shoots 10–15 cm long.
- Remove the lower leaves.
- Push the cuttings into slightly moist sand.
- Keep them warm and in partial shade.
