What you need

How to do it

  1. Set up the crate in the living room weeks beforehand.
  2. Drop a treat inside now and then.
  3. Let your dog step in voluntarily.
  4. Do short practice drives of 10 to 15 minutes.

Variations

  • With a harness system, have a familiar person sit next to the dog.
