Bitter cucumber peels are said to keep ants away from their trail and your doorways.

How to do it
- Lay a few cucumber peels on the ant trail.
- Indoors, place peels at the entry points.
- Replace the peels with fresh ones every day.
- Give it a few days; the ants should then be gone.
Variations
- Lemon: lay grated lemon zest or lemon slices at entry points or on ant trails. Ants find the citrus scent unpleasant.
