What you need

  • Coffee grounds

How to do it

  1. Scatter coffee grounds around the plants you want to protect.
  2. If needed, spray strong coffee onto the leaves.
  3. Keep the amount limited, since the soil pH can change.

Variations

  • Cat litter, sawdust, crushed eggshells or ash are used in a similar way.
