Earwig pot hung in a tree against aphids
An earwig pot made from a flower pot and wood wool attracts earwigs, which eat aphids.

What you need
- Clay flower pot
- Wood wool or straw
- Wire mesh
- Wire or string
How to do it
- Fill the flower pot with wood wool or straw.
- Close it with wire mesh.
- Hang it upside down near a tree infested with aphids.
- Take the pot down once the aphids are gone.
