Point the bow upstream when boarding in a current
In a current, point the bow against the flow before you get into your kayak.

How to do it
- Point the bow against the direction of flow.
- Get in from an eddy or from the bank.
- If the current is too strong and there is no eddy, get in from the bank, bracing with the paddle in one hand and your other hand.
