What you need
- Chain oil
- Rag
How to do it
- Clean the chain and dry it well.
- Turn the pedals slowly backwards and put the oil on the individual links drop by drop.
- Wipe off any excess oil.
Why it works
Excess lubricant attracts dirt and dust from the surroundings. That makes the chain dirty faster and increases friction.
