Yacht – so spielst du

Yacht – how to play

Each round you throw five dice up to three times. Dice you tap are held; only the others are rolled again.

Then you enter the result in a free line of the logbook – for example three of a kind, full house (25), small straight (30), large straight (40) or Yacht, five alike (50). If nothing fits, you score 0 in a line.

Reach at least 63 points in the upper section (ones to sixes) for a 35 point bonus. After 13 rounds the highest total wins.

Tips

  • Aim for three of each number in the upper section – that is enough for the bonus.
  • Chance is your safety net for bad throws.
  • A 0 in Yacht is often better than spoiling a straight.

Frequently asked questions

Is Yacht the same as Yahtzee?

How many players?

Alone against the AI or two to four people on one device.

When do I get the bonus?

From 63 points in the ones to sixes lines you get 35 extra points.
