Mahjong – so spielst du

116 Steine liegen in drei Ebenen übereinander.

Was heißt „frei“?

Mahjong – how to play

116 tiles lie stacked on three layers. Choose two matching tiles that are free – they are removed as a pair.

A tile is free if no other tile lies on it and it is open on the left or right in its row. Tiles that are not free are shown slightly darker.

You win when all tiles are cleared. If no free pair is left, the game is stuck. Every game is shuffled to be solvable; the hint shows a free pair.

Tips

  • Clear the upper layers and long rows first – that is where most covered tiles are.
  • If three matching tiles are free, take the pair that uncovers more tiles.
  • The hint only shows one possible pair, not always the best.

Frequently asked questions

Is every game solvable?

Yes, the tiles are shuffled so that there is at least one way to solve it.

What does “free” mean?

Nothing lies on top, and there is room on the left or right.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By the number of solved games.
